We’re not too shy to say that we’re the experts when it comes to planning a unique, musical celebration for your child’s birthday.  Our Kindermusik® parties are perfect for children turning 1 to 7 years… and for parents who want to leave the planning and clean-up to someone else.  From the first song to the last jingle, a Kindermusik party is delightfully captivating and thoroughly entertaining.

Here at PCS, we’ve been doing Kindermusik® birthday parties for nearly 20 years, and in all that time, we’ve learned a few tips of what NOT to do at your child’s Kindermusik® Birthday Party.  We are happy to share five of those “what not to do” tips with you here, in celebration of our twice-annual Birthday Party Deal that we’re running with Kidding Around Greenville.

What NOT to do at your child’s Kindermusik® Birthday Party

Stand off to the side.

All of the fun and memories come from your active and joyful participation, as well as that of your guests, so yes, please do join right in.  You’ll be surprised at home much you enjoy letting your inner child come out!

Look at, but don’t touch, the instruments.

(Remember we’re talking about what NOT to do at your child’s Kindermusik® party!  Those double negatives can mess with your mind.)  Seriously, you are your child’s first and best teacher, and when it comes to their Kindermusik® party, the one who can really help them explore and enjoy the instrument play to its fullest.

Leave your singing in the shower.

There’s no more beautiful sound to your child than your voice, even if you’d never make it on stage.  And there will be nothing more special to your child than hearing you sing along at the party.  You might even find that singing in the car together will become a new favorite pastime!

Sit out any of the dances.

Nobody gets to be a wall flower at a Kindermusik® birthday party… and nobody wants to be a wall flower at a Kindermusik® party!  We’ll keep things moving – literally – with happy dances interwoven throughout the instruments, songs, scarves, bubbles, and parachute.  You’ll have showing off your best moves and joining in on the circle dances too.

Forget your camera.

And you thought a trip to Chick-fil-A made them happy!  Wait until you see the smile that Kindermusik® will put on your child’s face.  It’s that magical combination of music, movement, celebration, and all of your child’s friends and special people.  You’ll want to capture the sheer joy and delight on your child’s face all throughout the party.  (So remember the extra batteries too!)

Special Party Deal for YOUR Child’s Kindermusik® party.

HI Theresa!
I am a fellow Kindermusik educator and need some advice. I have been approached by a parent interested in having a Kindermusik Birthday Party.
I have never done one before and would like some advice and ideas on how to present one.
Please reply if and when you have a chance.
It is a November birthday party of 8. 3yr olds. 🙂
Thanks a bunch!
