In October, one of Greenville’s top events for safe trick-or-treating is the annual Enchanted Forest at the Pavilion. Our Kidding Around Greenville Facebook fans came to the rescue with lots of great information on why Enchanted Forest is one of the top spots for trick-or-treating in Upstate SC.

Trick-or-Treating at Enchanted Forest in Greenville, SC
What Is Enchanted Forest?
A unique fairytale trick-or-treat experience awaits kids ages 2-12 at the Enchanted Forest. Wear your costume and discover the magic of the forest, where you’ll encounter characters like Elsa, Shrek, and Snow White. You can visit Ariel under the sea, discover a whole new world with Aladdin, and meet the beautiful Princess Tiana. Then, stroll over to the village for carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, treats, and a costume contest each night.
Don’t forget to dress up, as each night will have a costume contest.
The Inside Scoop on Enchanted Forest
We asked other Greenville parents what they thought about Enchanted Forest, and the answers started coming in quickly! Here are some of the comments that they had about this annual trick-or-treating event:
One of our favorite events! Trick or treating in the forest is fun, and so are the games. If you participate in the costume contests, be prepared to wait. It takes a while to put lots of cute kids on stage for judging.
JenniferThe characters in the forest for trick or treating were fun and there were bounce houses and little games to play with prizes for playing. There was a costume contest too.
NicholeMy kids love trick or treating in the Enchanted Forest that is full of storybook characters, like Shrek, Snow White and Robin Hood.
ChristiWe love the trick or treating in the Enchanted forest with all the story book characters.
MelissaAnd several readers asked, “Where is this? We’ve never heard about it!”
2021 Enchanted Forest Details
Greenville County Parks and Rec canceled this event due to COVID-19 in 2020, and a 2021 event has yet to be announced. Check back for updates.
If you want to ride George the train (he’s open most years) then plan to get there early. They’ve tried lots of strategies for accommodating riders, but it usually ends up that if you get there early, you can get a ride in, but otherwise, you’ll probably have to come back another day to redeem that activity on your ticket.
We would love to win! Such a fun family event
This sounds fun
Finally found out where to comment. Was putting it on FB. Really would love to win, thanks-
Sounds fun!
George the train was close for repairs the last couple of time we stopped by. Can anyone confirm he is up and running?
He is closed this year. I did alter the post but missed the comments from previous years so I’ve added a note to the post to clarify that. The good news is all kids get a free ticket to the Bounce House, so it’s really two days of fun for the price of one!
We’ve never been but would love to go!
Wooohoooooo hope to win
This is something we have never done & it sounds fun.
My 3 year old would love this!
Love enchanted tracks, would love to win!
I have never heard of this but I am excited to take my son this year. I love Kidding Around Greenville for giving me all of the great information about events that I would not know about otherwise.
Thank you, Kristen!
I couldn’t agree more.
Would love to win and take my 3. Congrats to whomever wins!
My husband and I took our son last year. He had a blast!
Pick me!
Never been. Would love to take my son
Looks so fun!
We went last year and had a great time! I would definitely recommend it especially for only $5/kid.
Never been before
I’ve never been but would love to take my two littles for the first time.
We’ve been to Enchanted Tracks in the past but stopped going when George went out of commission. Now the boys are asking to go again even without the train ride! So yes, great time and lots of fun. Don’t forget cash if you want to partake of the concessions…
