Before spearheading the Pop Art movement, in the 1950s Warhol achieved success as New York’s most popular advertising artists. Once his career exploded, Warhol focused on silkscreen printing and filmmaking. Works by Warhol, featuring 36 iconic masterworks, includes a broad cross-section of examples from his storied career. The February 17 Homeschool Day will also tour the Museum’s second changing exhibition, Andy Warhol: Endangered Species.
