School-aged Childcare Guide: The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” In addition to receiving support for Virtual School and e-Learning, children have afterschool programming opportunities that include sports, swim, games and more.

Approved for CARES Act Funding

Program Hours: 7:30 am – 6 pm

Ages: Kindergarten – 12th Grade

Academic Assistance Offered: Trained staff members provide a welcoming space for children to complete eLearning and Virtual Learning while giving brain breaks throughout the day.

Bilingual Support for Spanish Speaking Families: Available upon request

Health and Safety COVID-19 Policies: The Boys and Girls Club will continue to operate at a lesser capacity. Temperatures will be taken before entry. Families will be asked to follow COVID-19 procedures if exposure or positive testing occurs. Staff will continue to wear masks. Group activities will be accomplished via small groups.
