Celebrate the new year with Japanese food, traditions, music, & games

The festival will include all different sorts of Japanese activities, including:

• ema making
• omikuji fortunes
• the game of fukuwarai
• origami
• kakizome calligraphy
• Japanese yoyo – yoyo tsuri
• traditional flower hat dance Hanagasa Ondo performance
• a demonstration by the Kazoku Karate School
• a shibori demonstration with Indigo Roots Textiles
• Okinawan Folk Songs with sanshin & singing.
• Japanese food will by Heiwa Shokudo
