This is a FREE event on Sunday, May 19th from 12-8pm at Dolly Cooper Park featuring Ava Braatz as MC, and music performed by The Fortunate Sons. Kids will love the Tiger Pediatrics KidsZone with face painting, balloon artists, giant games, and activities for all ages. Plus, shop from over 20 local makers and indulge in over 15 food, dessert, and drink trucks.

Though underestimated as a “simple sponge,” SpongeBob manages to unite the citizens and save the city from impending doom. The hands-on, bi-lingual (English and Spanish) adventure takes place in the neighborhood where Curious George™ lives with his friend, The Man in the Yellow Hat. Letting curiosity and inquiry be their guides, visitors explore familiar buildings and locales with multigenerational appeal from the Curious George™ book series and television show on PBS.

Finding the Force…Awakening an Empire, a Star Wars exhibition, brings together a unique presentation of the history, the costuming, the creatives, and the characters, highlighting the legends and legacies of this storied franchise, and providing insight into the elements that have consistently connected us to a galaxy far, far away for over 45 years.
Visitors will experience the Star Wars universe as characters are brought to life through a dramatic presentation of original costumes and film assets including Chewbacca, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Rey, Poe, Finn, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, and the notorious Stormtroopers. Film assets will include beloved characters R2-D2, C-3PO, and BB-8. Poe’s X-Wing fighter model, maquettes, concept art, and more, will highlight the creative process, encompassing the essence of Star Wars creator George Lucas’ vision and the exciting challenge of translating his iconic characters into a dynamic reality.

Join Roam Acres Farm for our 4-week equine assisted learning series, “Saddle Up For Stories”, tailored to foster early literacy skills in children! Through interactive activities with our herd, participants will engage in story-time sessions, sight word recognition games, and experiential play.
Led by our credentialed equine professional and a SC licensed educator, this series is designed to enhance language development, promote confidence, and instill a love of reading in young learners.
This series begins on Saturday 6/22/24 and will meet for the subsequent sessions of the series on 6/29, 7/13, and 7/20. Depending on age, sessions will either be from 9:00am-10:30am, or 10:45am-12:15pm.
