The Lost City Regatta @ The Shores of Asbury RV Campground, Water Park, and Restaurant

The Event is Free to the Public to Attend and many activities will be going on at The Shores of Asbury to give proceeds to the Vets helping Vets project to support the new center for Vets. Business and Individual teams are signing up to build a cardboard boat and take part in the 2nd annual cardboard boat race. Participants can use cardboard, paint or varnish, and any kind of duct tape or sealant  tape to build their boats. There will be timed heats throughout the day with prizes given.

The boats have to big enough for two people of any size to paddle out around approximately 100 feet and back to the bank. The regatta host a pirate theme each year with a huge pirate costume contest, bring a lawn chair because a live pirate band will be playing music from the big stage all day. There will be a dunkin tank, mini festival, kyaks and canoes for rent, discounted tickets for the aqua zone floating water park, a mini festival, helicopter rides with proceeds going to the vets, and a vendors fair that you can sign up for.
