 a County Extension Master Gardeners and the Oconee Bell Chapter of the Nor
 th Carolina Native Plant Society are hosting this opportunity to participa
 te in the Great Southeast Pollinator Count at Gorges State Park\, 976 Gra
 ssy Ridge Road\, Sapphire\, NC\,  Friday\, August 21st . There will be tw
 o one-hour segments with the first from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and the second fr
 om 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\n\nThere will be 12 volunteers participating 
 in each hour segment. Brief training will be provided in how to count the 
 pollinators and capture the information needed. Participants will need to 
 dress for the weather as this will occur rain or shine. Participants may 
 bring children who will be supervised at all times. The number of childre
 n and ages of children are to be supplied in the comments box when registe
 ring for the event.
