SUMMARY:Nature Discovery After School Club
DESCRIPTION:Elementary-age students can explore Conestee Nature Preserve as
  young naturalists in this twice-monthly\, drop-off after-school program! 
 Through nature hikes\, hands-on investigation\, and playful discovery\, ki
 ds will dig into a new nature topic each session. Join for one session or 
 come throughout the semester to build on each adventure.\nTime: 3–4:30 p
 m\, 1st &amp\; 3rd Thursdays\nFall 2026 Dates &amp\; Themes\nSept. 3 – D
 on’t Bug Me! (Ants &amp\; Insects)\nSept. 17 – Rolling Down the Reedy 
 (The Reedy River)\nOct. 1 – Bye\, Bye Blackbird! (Birds &amp\; Migration
 )\nOct. 15 – Treerific! (Trees &amp\; the Environment)\nNov. 5 – Doe\,
  a Deer… (Deer &amp\; State Animals)\nNov. 19 – Freezing\, Frigid\, Fr
 osty (Animals in Winter)\nCost: $10 per session or $50 for all 6 sessions.
 \nLocation: Meeting locations vary throughout Conestee Nature Preserve. Re
 gistered participants will receive location details by email before each s
 ession.\nRegistration Deadline: Midnight on the Tuesday before class. If a
  class is full or you miss the deadline\, contact the Preserve to ask abou
 t availability or a waitlist.\nBring: A water bottle and weather-appropria
 te clothing. Apply sunscreen and bug spray before class as needed. Session
 s are entirely outdoors.
