Riverside High School Speech and Debate Radio Play

The Riverside High School Speech & Debate team will present an old-fashioned, live radio production (off-air!) featuring an adaptation of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol and other tales of the season. The talented team of over 50 RHS students, a few team alumni, and coaches will take the stage to entertain the crowd with 1940s era skits and commercials between the acts of A Christmas Carol. They stay as true as possible to the early days of radio, complete with sound effects created without using electronics.

The performance will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:30pm in the Riverside High School auditorium (794 Hammett Bridge Road, Greer, SC) and is open to the public. Doors open 1hr before the performance where heavy hors d’oeuvres/light dinner and desserts will be offered. Tickets are $7 each and can be purchased from a Speech and Debate team member or at the door.
