DESCRIPTION:Hello my name is Dana. I am a volunteer at Dawn: A Center for S
 tillness and Peace at 153 Fall Creek Road\, Marietta\, SC (right down the 
 road from Jones Gap State Park.)\n\nOn October 4th we are having a free (m
 ost of our offerings are free with donations accepted but not required)\, 
 children's event for ages 3-11. Below is the description and it does requi
 re registration. We know how disconnected many children are from nature an
 d we are in our second year of offering this fun and free event.\n\nIf you
  have any questions\, feel free to email me at dana@dawnretreatcenter.org\
 n\nGive your children an afternoon of pure outdoor fun at Dawn: A Center f
 or Stillness and Peace. Children will move through guided discovery statio
 ns around the property filled with nature-inspired creations\, kid-friendl
 y yoga\, and playful learning about root systems\, pollinators\, trees\, a
 nd more\, making one-of-a-kind creations to take home along the way. In na
 ture\, children learn to slow down\, be present\, and hear that still smal
 l voice within.\n\nThis is a side-by-side experience. Parents and caregiv
 ers stay with their children the entire time\, hands in the dirt and creat
 ivity flowing right alongside their little ones.\n\nFacilitated by (with 
 support from a team of dedicated volunteers):\n\nKristy Fairey\, Sandhya 
 Kalidindi\, and Lorena Font — together bringing a lifetime of experien
 ce working with children\, spanning Reggio-inspired and Montessori early c
 hildhood education\, leading summer camps and horseback riding lessons\, a
 nd RYT-200 certified yoga instruction focused on helping children discover
  self-awareness\, compassion\, and their connection to the natural world.\
 n\nWhat to bring:\n\n 	A bag to carry home your child’s finished artwork
 \n 	Snacks if you want something special. We provide simple snacks and wat
 er.\n 	This event is entirely outdoors\, so children will be in the sun. M
 ountain weather can also change quickly\, so pack for both warm and cool c
 onditions\, like a hat or sweater\n 	Water shoes and a towel\, if you’d 
 like to stick around afterward and let the children splash in the stream w
 ith you\n 	A blanket or something to sit on\n\nYoga mats will be provided\
 , along with snacks and water throughout the event.\n\nInclement Weather\n
 Mountain weather is unpredictable. In the event of cancellation due to wea
 ther\, we’ll post updates on our website\, social media\, and via email.
