 d-fashioned way. Using quill pens and ink\, participants will create a han
 dwritten Valentine while learning how love and courtship were expressed in
  the 19th century\, long before text messages and store-bought cards.\n\nT
 his hands-on program is designed for ages 10 and up. Participants will be 
 writing with real ink\, so please dress appropriately\, keeping in mind th
 at spills and ink stains are part of the historic experience. This program
  offers a meaningful glimpse into historic communication and a chance to s
 low down\, put words to paper\, and create a Valentine worth keeping.
