I can still remember rocking my newborn son while singing him songs based on each letter of the alphabet. I read to him often. He loved watching a phonics DVD as he got older. All of this culminated in him finally learning to read! I was so excited and began trying to find books that interested him enough that he was willing to work to read them. Mo Willems has written a fun series of books done in comic book style called Elephant and Piggie, and the books start at a Kindergarten reading level. Encourage your child to read these books by taking him to the South Carolina Children’s Theatre’s production of Elephant and Piggie’s “We Are In A Play!”. Read on to find out how you can win two tickets to the opening performance on June 15 at 10 am!
Thank you to South Carolina Children’s Theatre for sponsoring Kidding Around Greenville by offering this giveaway!
