I am so blessed to come from a family of musicians and music lovers alike. I owe a great thanks to my father for exposing me to a variety of genres of music; anything from classical to techno and everything in between. He always encouraged my siblings and me to explore our artistic sides. Fifteen years later music is still a great passion of mine. Needless to say I hope to share the beauty of music with my own children. Momma’s Review of Kindermusik
Upon arriving we were greeted by a wonderful lady named Theresa who happens to be the owner of PCS, as well as a licensed Kindermusik educator. The kiddos were allowed to explore a few age appropriate instruments until it was time for class to begin. Kindermusik offers a fun curriculum that changes themes with every new unit. There is a different themed lesson which is paired with fun songs, instruments, dancing and a story. During our Kindermusik class at Piano Central Studios the destination was the beach! My oldest son was extremely excited because he hasn’t been to the beach since we moved from Florida. After all our classmates had arrived we all sat in a circle to introduce ourselves with a fun Hello song. Since we were at the beach we swam and scurried like a crab to meet new friends.
We enjoyed fun songs and activities which went along with our beach theme. These really helped you to imagine that you were at the beach. Theresa encouraged each parent/caretaker to join in the fun by singing, dancing, and playing along with the kids. My children and I both loved playing all the different instruments. Some sounded like sand and others like crabs clicking away! This was probably my youngest kiddo’s favorite part of the class as he would get extremely giddy each time a new instrument was brought out and terribly disappointed when they were put away. We also got up and moving with an occasional dance. My oldest loved dancing with mommy and now asks me to dance with him each time he hears music.
Kindermusik at Piano Central Studios, with Theresa, is a fun, educational and artistic way to allow my kiddos to experience music. For me the best part of Kindermusik is the opportunity to observe my kids truly enjoying something as wonderful and inspiring as music. To be able to interact with them through song and dance was not only fun but energizing too! The structured yet playful music and movement environment is a perfect way to prepare little ones with the basic skills needed for kindergarten and for music lessons later on. During our class, at Piano Central Studios, Theresa helped my kids build these basic skills; they learned to listen to instructions, how to help clean up, waiting your turn and taking turns, using indoor voices, working together, singing and playing instruments.
Ready to Sing and Dance?
Kindermusik offers simple and ongoing enrollment for all classes. Kindermusik at PCS allows students the convenience of attending class for as long as you like and taking a break if you need to. Each enrolled student receives a music CD and a new set of Kindermusik® @Home Materials. These are delivered to your email inbox at the start of each new theme. If you miss a class, for whatever reason, PCS offers unlimited makeup classes for duration of your enrollment. All you need to do is call or email the office to schedule a makeup class.
Class Schedules & Tuition
Kindermusik classes are offered year-round for infants to age 7 during the school year (September – May). These classes are grouped by age, however, there is a class the entire family can attend!
Kindermusik for the Young Child is curriculum designed to turn “Knowledge into Skill.” Your child will learn new skills like reading music, composing, singing, and playing different age appropriate instruments.
Kindermusik Playdates is a one-time themed Kindermusik class for infants to age 7. These occur throughout the year and are often specially priced at only $5.
Kindermusik Play Class is a traditional Kindermusik class which is scheduled at your convenience exclusively for your play group.
*ABC Music & Me is curriculum designed for Preschools.
Kindermusik monthly tuition is all inclusive! No registration fee! Plus you can preview a class before you register!
Discounts & Birthday Parties
Referral Rewards. For every new-to-Kindermusik friend you refer both families will receive a $10 tuition credit! There is no limit to the amount of Referral Rewards which you can earn.
Sibling Savings. With Sibling Savings you will receive $10 off each additional sibling enrolled in any PCS Kindermusik class.

Shawnee is a former administrative professional who decided to focus on her children and education. She is lucky enough to be able to stay home with her two amazing little boys who are growing and learning all the time.
