The WNC Nature Center is now certified as “sensory inclusive” and is offering new kits to guests with sensory issues such as Autism and PTSD. The center has collaborated with KultureCity a non profit organization specializing in sensory challenges and has trained the staff to accommodate those with special needs. The kits will be on loan while at the center and will consist of noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools, and cue cards.
