Governor McMaster Announces Stay At Home or At Work Order

At a press conference on April 6, 2020, Governor McMaster announced a Stay at Home or Work Order for South Carolina. The order goes into effect at 5 pm on Tuesday.

Under this order, South Carolina residents must remain at home with the following exceptions:

  • Work
  • Outdoor recreation for exercise
  • Purchasing necessities or necessary services
  • Visiting family

Violating this order is a criminal offense punishable by a $100 fine and/or up to 30 days in prison per day of offense.

Mrs Basset you are correct, homeschooling is the way to go! I know some kids are better in a class room atmosphere and homeschool groups fill that need well! Great job ma’am!
