Fall is finally here and it’s time to get outside for a great local event! The 2nd Friday night of each month is the TR Town & Art Crawl, a local function in the town of Travelers Rest your family will love. Local mom Andrea went to the last art crawl in TR and tells us what makes this event awesome!

What is the TR Town & Art Crawl?
It’s time for the crawl, y’all.
Once a month during the TR Town & Art Crawl season, Friday night comes alive in the most fun sort of way.
From the first time we attended out of curiosity to the time we officially signed on as media sponsors to every single Friday night they’ve hosted, we’ve been fans of the TR Town & Art Crawl.
What’s better than a Friday night in pleasant weather with good friends and twinkling lights and shops open late and makers and crafters sharing their skills in our very favorite small town?
The TR Town & Art Crawl is a grassroots event series highlighting the southern charm of Travelers Rest and bringing together our local business and arts community.
When does the TR Art Crawl take place?
Always the 2nd Friday of the month during the Spring Series, April through June, and Fall Series, September through November, they meet on Main Street in downtown Travelers Rest from 6 pm – 9 pm. Throughout the Art Crawl you’ll find local artists, live music performed at The Grove at Upcountry and a Kids Crawl area with art activities and games just for them.
During the Crawl all of the local participating businesses stay open late and many have Crawl specials that make stopping in and picking out some treats an extra good deal. There will be live music, food, friends and more.
Don’t forget to pick up your Crawl Card to help you travel around the Crawl route. Use the Crawl Card to take advantage of free events, food specials, shop discounts AND it can help you win $50. Read all the details about the Crawl Card here.
