Old-fashioned Radio Play

The Riverside High School Speech & Debate team will present an
old-fashioned, live radio (off-air!) production featuring an adaptation
of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and other tales of the season. The
talented team of 50 RHS students and coaches will
take the stage to entertain the crowd with 1940s era skits and
commercials between the acts of A Christmas Carol. They stay as true as
possible to the early days of radio, complete with sound effects created
without using electronics. 
Tickets are $5 each and will be available at the door. Riverside Speech & Debate team is an 11-time South Carolina State Champion (2012-2022) and is also recognized nationally.
