Elements of Art
For first-time kindergartners or rising 1st graders
If you have a K5 child that doesn’t want to miss out on fun with art, then bring your beginner to M&G for a special kindergarten camp focused on the Elements of Art. Your child will enjoy multiple art projects, age-appropriate lessons, interactive games, and snacks while learning about line, shape, color, and texture. This 5-day morning camp will keep your young starter so engaged, he won’t even know he’s learning!
Note: K5 campers must turn 5 years old by September 1, 2023
Art Around the World
1st—6th grade (ages 6-12)
Italy, China, Egypt, Australia! Students will learn about animal symbolism, colors, patterns and much more as they explore different art forms from around the globe. This 5-day morning camp includes artistic and cultural discoveries, snacks, and new friends, and it concludes with a special art exhibition for young creatives to showcase their week’s adventures.

WELCOME TO SUMMER ENCOUNTERS, CAMPS FOR CURIOUS KIDS!
2023 camps will begin May 31! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC. It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. With almost 300 camps (75 are NEW) over 11 weeks, Summer Encounters offers something for everyone! Adventures in sports, creative pursuits, cooking, science and technology, service learning, and more! There are even some fun academic camps to give kids a “jump start” on the next school year. Last year approximately 1700 campers from over 100 schools explored with us.

Education and Field Trips: Hagood Mill offers tours of the 176-year-old mill, the Hagood Creek Petroglyph Site, blacksmith shop, and moonshine still. Children may watch demonstrations by local artisans, participate in hands-on activities, and experience workshops. There are several field trip options including one-day or multi-day trips, traveling field trip shows, and virtual field trips.
