Math Camps

We’re excited to host another great summer at Roper Mountain Science Center, the home to more than 100 week-long half- and full-day camps for children in completed grades K4 through 9. Our hands-on activity-based educational Summer Explorations Camps mix a wide variety of fun in a wide range of topics. With selections of old favorites and new offerings from art to animals, pop culture to physics, lots and lots of Legos, and, of course, science for all ages, there is truly something for everyone at Roper Mountain.

Music Math Multilingual Christian Academy is now open for summer camp registration and 2023-2024 school year registration! Throughout the months of June and July, our school is offering summer camps in music, math, robotics, Mandarin/Spanish/English immersion, creative arts, ping pong, and Chinese cooking! Ages and prices vary depending on each camp.

Camps will be held at MMM Academy’s location at McAlister Square, 225 S Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville, SC, and we welcome you to visit our space to find out more and to register in person. Our school is also open for registration for the 2023-24 school year for both part-time and full-time students. As a language immersion school, we offer classes in Spanish or Mandarin while both our part-time and full-time programs have the option to simultaneously supply credits in English, math, science, social studies, music, and art. 2023 KABOOM Awards Family Favorites 1st Place: Summer Camps

WELCOME TO SUMMER ENCOUNTERS, CAMPS FOR CURIOUS KIDS!

2023 camps will begin May 31! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC. It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. With almost 300 camps (75 are NEW) over 11 weeks, Summer Encounters offers something for everyone! Adventures in sports, creative pursuits, cooking, science and technology, service learning, and more! There are even some fun academic camps to give kids a “jump start” on the next school year. Last year approximately 1700 campers from over 100 schools explored with us.

Summer Encounters Camps would be honored to invite your family to join us for an exciting summer of new discoveries, friendships, and lasting memories. Registration opens on February 15th. Wired Minds offers an academic summer camp. Academic camps are offered for rising 3rd through 5th graders, Monday through Friday.

Offers: Over 10 different learning camps to keep students engaged in learning during the summer. Various camps apply hands-on learning, review, and fun for writing, reading, mathematics, science and technology. For ages preK through 9th grade.

Offers: Summer camp curriculum STEAM learning through exciting and fun experiences for your child every day! For ages 4 – 12

Offers: A wide variety of camps for students of all ages including athletic, fine arts, and academic camps, as well as college counseling workshops. For grades 1st – 12th.

Over the course of a fun-filled week at Clemson University YLI Headquarters in Pickens, SC, campers will test their creativity and problem-solving skills. This camp is for children aged 9 – 15.

2023 schedule: June 4th – July 28th

STEM Day Camp is for incoming 9th – 12th grade students. All activities will challenge students to apply STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) topics to real-world situations. Activities may include rocket launching, drone aerodynamics, programming rovers, engineering with dominoes, 3D printing, crime scene analysis, and analyzing chemical reactions. The camp is part of a collaboration between professors at Spartanburg Community College and USC Upstate through a grant from the National Science Foundation.

Offers: A variety of Math Camps for all grade levels

Offers: For students interested in science and math, the Governor School for Science and Math offers camps in STEM for rising 6th- 10th grade.
Camps offered include virtual camps, residential camps, and day camps.

Application Deadline is May 15, 2023. Check the website for the most up-to-date information.

GoSciTech is the Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics’ (GSSM) annual residential summer science camp, designed for rising 8th, 9th, and 10th graders. Courses offered during the camp include Pre-Med & Anatomy, Marine Biology, Science and the Law, Codes and Cryptography, and many more! Courses are taught by GSSM faculty, college and university professors, and experts working in the field. Camp is held at GSSM’s Hartsville, SC campus. The application deadline is May 15th.
