Summer day camp at the Y is more than just fun – it’s a launchpad for lifelong memories. It’s where kids from all backgrounds come together to build confidence, try new things, and form friendships.

Whether your child enjoys sports, arts & science, dance, swimming, or a full-day camp experience, the YMCA of Greenville is ready to help you have the best summer ever! Each and every camp week, counselors work hard to instill the Y’s core values of respect, caring, honesty, responsibility, and faith all in a safe and fun environment.

Each of the family Y branches offers different specialty camps and enrichment experiences, so be sure that your desired camp is offered at your local Y.

As a Montessori-style and STEAM-based Mandarin Immersion K-12 school, we provide engaging music, math, and Mandarin language immersion in a peaceful and joyful environment to inspire students to be independent thinkers, hard workers, problem solvers, and team players.

Signup for June Academy and or July Academy for an authentic experience of dual language development the whole day of learning with integrated subjects of music, STEM robotics, math and cultural cooking, dances and outdoor activities.

Weekly theme camps are also available for signup according to individual choices.

Summer Encounters 2026 camps will begin May 27!

Dive into another unforgettable summer adventure at Christ Church Episcopal School’s award-winning day camps in Greenville, SC. Summer Encounters hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades (rising) K4 to 12.

Summer Encounters camps are designed for curious kids who love to explore new interests, dive deeper into favorite activities, and discover all the fun that summer has to offer. With hundreds of engaging options—ranging from sports and outdoor adventures to science, art, technology, creativity, leadership, and beyond—there truly is something for every child.

Foothills offers exciting, age-appropriate summer camps designed to build confidence, skills, and friendships in a fun, supportive environment.

Tiny Tot Camps (Ages 3–5) meet for 2 hours daily and introduce young children to movement through gymnastics, ninja, cheer, tumbling, and imaginative play. Campers climb, jump, roll, balance, and explore obstacle courses while developing coordination, listening skills, independence, and social confidence. Specialty themes like Cheer & Tumble and Camp Happily Ever After add music, mini cheers, creative play, and princess fun to basic gymnastics instruction. These camps are perfect for first-time campers who love to move and play.

Camps for Ages 6 & Up meet for 3 hours daily and are designed for both beginners and experienced athletes. Gymnastics Camp focuses on skill development across events, strength, flexibility, and technique. Cheer Camp teaches cheers, jumps, stunts, tumbling, choreography, and teamwork, ending with a performance. Ninja Camp challenges campers with climbing, agility courses, and strength-building obstacles. Great Adventure Camp combines gymnastics, obstacle challenges, outdoor exploration, and a Water Day finale.

All camps are led by experienced coaches who provide positive instruction and individualized support, ensuring every child grows in skill, confidence, and love for movement.

Core Camps (Grades K4 – 8th)
Campers explore music, dance, theater, and visual arts. They learn songs and choreography, create vibrant art projects, and bring stories to life through acting. Each week ends with a lively showcase where campers share their work with family and friends.

Specialty Camps
Ready to shine on stage? Led by theater director and choreographer Josh Borges. Campers master high-energy routines, scenes, songs, and choreography, building skill and confidence. Each week ends with a show-stopping showcase where family and friends cheer them on.

Inclusive Arts Camps (Grades K4 – 8th)
We partner with World Upside Down Arts Studio to provide a supportive environment where children of all abilities explore theater, music, dance, and visual arts. Small groups with a 1:2–1:4 staff-to-student ratio ensure personalized guidance.

Summer Dance Camps (Ages 3–10)
Offered as week-long themed camps in both Greenville and Simpsonville, these
experiences blend dance, creativity, and play — perfect for young dancers ready to shine:

● Shine, Dance, Slay – This K-Pop camp brings high-energy moves, fierce confidence,
and lots of fun as dancers will experience a world of music, teamwork, and heroic
imagination.
● Royal Princess – Hear ye, Hear ye, royal subjects! Get ready to step into a magical
world of twirls and tiaras royal adventures.
● Pineapple Princess – An island-inspired dance adventure celebrating brave hearts,
ocean dreams, and friendship. Dancers will explore all dance genres while as a part of
our ohana!
● Mermaids & Pirates – Meet us under the sea for a treasure-seeking dance adventure!
From swishy mermaid moves to strong pirate steps, dancers will let their imaginations
sail free.
● Unicorn University – A whimsical week where magic meets movement. Dancers will
twirl, prance, and sparkle their way through a week of dance as they train to become
official unicorn graduates.

In addition to our camps, we also offer a 6-week summer class for ages 2-18 with drop-in options, and a four day Summer Dance Intensive class (Ages 10) where dancers can take their training to the next level.

Join International Ballet for an exciting Summer Experience! Ballet Camps are held Monday through Friday and feature age appropriate ballet emphasizing creativity, coordination, and musicality.

Taught by well known International Ballet faculty, students will explore all facets of the art of ballet, learning about the story, music and costumes of classic ballets. Each week of camp culminates with an in-studio themed performance for parents and friends of our young campers to show off what they’ve learned. IB Ballet Camps are the perfect introduction to ballet with no long-term commitment or previous ballet experience required.

This all-day camp focuses on art, music, theatre skills, creative writing and dance. Each themed session ends with a Family Day Program. For ages 3 – 7th grade.

Southern Dance Connection offers classes in various forms of dance, tumbling, and cheer. Children aged 2 and up can participate in ballet, tap, and hip-hop dance. They also offer themed dance summer camps.
