For 2026, our camp theme is all about the extremes of our planet! “To the Extremes” will take your child on a journey to the hottest, coldest, and strangest places on our planet and discover the animals that live there! Our camps will encourage your child to appreciate these super animals and what they do for our planet.

Whether your child is interested in learning all about bugs in our camp, “It’s A Bug World”, or if they are interested in a good mystery in our camp, “Who Dung It?”, we are sure that your child will leave camp knowing that animals are not only wild, but extremely cool!

Creative Minds Learning Center – Summer STEM Camps & Tutoring

Give your student a summer of hands-on learning, creativity, and real skill building at Creative Minds Learning Center. Our STEM camps and tutoring programs help students gain confidence, strengthen academics, and explore science and engineering in a way that actually sticks.

Bioengineering & Life Science STEM Camp (June 3–5)
Students explore how biology and technology connect through real lab experiences. Campers work through the DNA → RNA → Protein process, practice micropipetting and lab techniques, dissect an earthworm to understand organ systems, and explore core biotechnology concepts.

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering STEM Camp (June 10–12)
This camp introduces circuits, communication systems, and engineering design through hands-on builds. Students create a hydraulic robotic arm, build DIY walkie-talkies, and design a Bluetooth speaker while learning electronics and sound principles.

Creative Minds STEAM Camp
Students develop problem-solving skills through science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a creative, engaging environment designed to spark curiosity and confidence.

Take flight this summer at Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, SC with ACE Summer Camps! This immersive 4-day aviation experience includes hands-on seminars, ground school lessons, aviation activities, and workshops on basic restoration skills. The highlight? A flight opportunity in one of the Triple Tree Aircraft!

Camps are divided into Radio Control Camps (for rising middle schoolers) and General Aviation Camps (for rising high schoolers), ensuring age-appropriate learning and engagement. STEM Day Camp is for incoming 9th – 12th grade students.
All activities will challenge students to apply STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) topics to real-world situations.
Activities may include rocket launching, drone aerodynamics, programming rovers, engineering with dominoes, 3D printing, crime scene analysis, and analyzing chemical reactions.

Field Trips & School Programs: The South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson offers 45-60 minute school programs intended to support your curriculum and grade level. Homeschool groups can visit as well. Fee is $5 per student. They also offer classes that are perfect for homeschooling families.

The Spartanburg Science Center is a downtown museum with live animal exhibits, an extensive collection of fossils, bones, rocks and minerals, and engaging children’s activities like engineering challenges. With only $5 admission and Free Family Saturdays once a month, put this place on your list to encourage a love of science in your children!

Birthday Parties: Stare at the stars. Play with robots. Create chemical reactions. Spartanburg Science Center adds intrigue to any birthday party! Whether you’re a kid in age or in your spirit of wonder, celebrate with the Spartanburg Science Center for an extra element of surprise and excitement.

Field Trips: Offers standards-based, hands-on science education for groups aged Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Programs can be held at the Science Center, they can come to you, or you can work with them to arrange field trips to natural habitats.
