Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC.  It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. Summer Encounters programming offers 260 unique summer camps during 11 weeks, exploring content in academics, sports, art, drama, cooking, science, technology, and service learning. Primrose School of Midtown Greenville will have Full Day In-Person Summer Camp beginning on June 6th for rising Kindergarteners – 5th grade. We can’t wait to experience the fun with you!

“The number of summer day camps families have to choose from can be overwhelming,” says Lauren Briles, Franchise Owner of Primrose School of Midtown Greenville. “The Primrose Summer Adventure Club makes the decision easy by offering such a great mix of activities that are fun for children but also naturally encourage summer learning through play and exploration.”

At Primrose Schools’ Summer Adventure Club, children become engineers, artists, explorers and more as they discover the joys of design thinking, a fun and innovative way to learn. Engineering design challenges, experiments and themed activities await as children unlock new ways of thinking – all while having a blast!

Every week, these activities and experiences center on a new theme that vary from engineering-focused to arts-related to sports-based. Each one includes nurturing leadership, good character, creative thinking, and problem solving in an exciting and natural way. Primrose campers will also take fieldtrips and welcome in-school presenters throughout the summer to reinforce these weekly themes. Primrose provides balanced and nutritious meals and snacks to your children throughout the day, too!

Park Place Children's Center

Park Place is WILD about summer! Join Park Place for an exciting summer and experience all the things that make summer fun!  Their camps include awesome field trips, theme-based crafts and activities, exciting experiments, group games and challenges, playground time, Xbox games and more!  Each week campers will go to the library and have a special movie day.  On Wednesdays there is water play (at Park Place) and on Fridays everyone will participate in Amazing Athletes.

Park Place Summer Camp is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Children who have completed Kindergarten – 5th grade are eligible to attend. Space is limited to 28 children per week, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!

Children can enroll for individual weeks or for the entire summer. Cost: $50.00 registration fee; $265.00 per week. Tuition includes breakfast, lunch, snack and field trips. A Park Place T-shirt is provided to wear on all field trips.

There is a $250 registration fee and the cost is $290 per week. Tuition includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, all field trips, and all supplies.

TCMU Summer Camp Guide 2022

Your child’s summer of discovery, learning and play awaits at TCMU Summer Camp! 

Summer camp is offered at both TCMU-Greenville and TCMU-Spartanburg. Each camp week is jam-packed with themed STEAM-based activities, which provide campers with the opportunity to learn and explore in the museum’s unique and playful setting.
