Camp Creekside at Camperdown Academy

Camperdown Academy is a school that specializes in successfully helping children who struggle with language-based learning differences. Camp Creekside does not require that your child have a documented diagnosis of dyslexia.

All camp activities take place on the 10-acre campus in the heart of the Verdae community near downtown Greenville. The summer camp is run by the experienced and dedicated teachers of Camperdown Academy.

Camp Creekside is a five-week adventure designed to deliver academic results. Dates are June 9 – July 18 with no camp the week of July 4. Camp runs from 9am-3:30pm weekdays with an optional early 8am arrival. Cost is $400 per week.

Field Trips & School Programs: The South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson offers 45-60 minute school programs intended to support your curriculum and grade level. Homeschool groups can visit as well. Fee is $5 per student. They also offer classes that are perfect for homeschooling families.

STEM Camp

STEM Day Camp is for incoming 9th – 12th grade students. All activities will challenge students to apply STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) topics to real-world situations. Activities may include rocket launching, drone aerodynamics, programming rovers, engineering with dominoes, 3D printing, crime scene analysis, and analyzing chemical reactions.
