We’re excited to host another great summer at Roper Mountain Science Center, the home to more than 100 week-long half- and full-day camps for children in completed grades K4 through 9. Our hands-on activity-based educational Summer Explorations Camps mix a wide variety of fun in a wide range of topics. With selections of old favorites and new offerings from art to animals, pop culture to physics, lots and lots of Legos, and, of course, science for all ages, there is truly something for everyone at Roper Mountain. BJU EDUcamp Jr. and Jr. Bruins Sports Camps

At Primrose School of Simpsonville at Five Forks, the Summer Adventure Club allows children to become engineers, artists, explorers, and more as they discover the joys of design thinking, a fun and innovative way to learn.  Engineering design challenges, experiments and themed activities await as children unlock new ways of thinking – all while having a blast!

Parents can register their children for all summer or just for individual weeks at a time.  The weekly theme is different each week.  Along with the theme, your child will also enjoy tons of on-site and off-site field trips!

Summer Camp is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m. Children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to attend. Tuition includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, all field trips, and all supplies.

Sign your camper up for a play-filled learning experience at TCMU! Each camp day is infused with STEAM-based learning and museum exploration based on a different weekly theme.

Summer camp at TCMU-Greenville is for rising Pre-K to 5th grade learners. Camp must be booked by the full week. Summer camp at TCMU-Spartanburg is for potty-trained 3-6-year-olds and can be booked by the day.

Themes for 2024 include:

June 17-21 – Epic Engineers: Geared toward builders, shakers, and future prototype makers, this camp offers hands-on experience into the fascinating world of engineering through engaging activities and projects.
June 24-28 – Cosmic Cadets: Campers will embark on a space odyssey, learning about planets, stars, and galaxies through engaging games and class-led STEAM activities.

STEM Camp
