Greenville has no shortage of restaurants and attractions, but finding a place to park can be daunting for many, especially those with small children. Wrestling with a stroller on a busy street, accidentally parking ten blocks from a destination, or overpaying for a spot does not sound like anyone’s idea of a good time. Utilizing one of the city’s many convenient parking facilities can help solve these problems and make getting in and out of downtown safe, convenient, and affordable, and each is only a few blocks from a variety of affordable kid-friendly activities and restaurants!

The City of Greenville offers free parking in all garages for the first hour no matter where or when you park. The second hour costs $2 and each hour after that is $1. They have a daily maximum rate set at $7. There are two exceptions: the W. Washington St. deck and the West End lot are always $1 each hour (max $7). There are also several free nights and weekend options: the W. Washington St. deck and the Richardson St. garage are free on the weekends (6 pm Fri to 6 am Mon), and the Greenville County Square lot is free to the public outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm) and on weekends. The Cancer Survivors parking lot is always free.
