They do not have set hours or days so you need to follow them on Facebook to see when they have tulips available for picking. Cost is $2 for 1-9 tulips $2 $1.50 each for 10+ tulips if you bring your own vase.

Dirt & Grit offers u-pick tulips and daffodils at their family farm in Woodruff, SC. Their tulip fields open to the public starting in March 12th, 2025 and go until sold out (a couple of weeks at best). The cost is $10 per person 11 and up, which includes 2 stems. Thompson Family Farms offers cut-your-own tulips in their flower fields beginning March 17th, 2025. The tulip season is short, so make sure you visit early! The cost is $8 per person 12 and older (children under 12 are free), and stems are $1 per stem. Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard: Tulips in Spring

Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard is open in March for u-pick tulips. Be sure to follow Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard so you do not miss up-to-date info. They will also have special events including flower arranging workshops, water color workshops, and farmer led wagon tours.

2025 hours are Monday and Thursday from 1pm – 4pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 4pm. General admission tickets are $10-$12.50 for ages 4 and older (it is cheaper to purchase online). You can purchase tickets ahead of time. Workshop tickets are $30 to $75, depending on your workshop choice, and that includes admission to the tulip fields.

If you are looking for more upick tulips later in the season, then Moonchild Farm in Mill Spring, NC will have tulips for upick beginning in April. There is not entry fee on opening day and $5 for following days from ages 12 and older. Tulips are $2 per stem. Hours are 10 am – 7 pom, April 4th-6th, 2025. Moonchild Farm will also have cut flowers for upick from May – October, including zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, cosmos, snapdragons, and more.
