Animal Camps

Get ready for GIGGLES ON THE GO!! We are excited for another fun summer full of awesome activities!

We offer a full day summer camp for kids 5 years old through 5th grade. Designed with both convenience and fun in mind, and at an all-inclusive price so your child is set for the summer.  That means you don’t ever have to worry about paying anything extra, packing food or a water bottle, or even washing your child’s camp shirt; we take care of it all!

We are conveniently located within the Pelham 85 Shopping Center (3620 Pelham Rd. Suite #1 A) !

Now enrolling for our 2023 Summer Camp season – If your child loves being on-the-go, our summer camp with daily field trips is the one for your family!

Love saving money?  Take advantage of our Early Bird Special!   Only $1600 for the whole summer when you purchase it in full by May 31st, 2023.  That’s a savings of $700!  But, hurry – There are limited Early Bird Spots available at this price, contact Giggles on Pelham for more information!

At Purrposeful Art Studio we combine Humane Education (fostering compassion, responsibility and kindness for all animals) with practical art instruction!

Update: As of March 4, 2023 students now have the option to choose from a variety of mediums including printmaking, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and cut paper. Students will create a minimum of two (2) pieces, one to keep, and one to sell at an annual fundraising benefit, where the proceeds will be donated to local animal rescue organizations.

Our commitment is to create a safe space, free of judgment, where children who are like minded, can come together to create art that saves lives!

Summer Art Camp: Ages 7-13

Half-Day Camps: Meets five (5) times M-F for a total of fifteen (15) hours. Morning and afternoon sessions available throughout the summer.

Full Day Camps: Meets five (5) times M-F for a total of thirty (30) hours.
June 12th-16th & July 31st-Aug 4th from 9:30-3:30pm.

Weeknight Classes: Ages 7-13

Classes meet six (6) consecutive weeks for a total of nine (9) hours from 4:30-6:00pm.

SUMMER CAMP

AGES: 5 – 12

LOCATIONS: Woodruff Leisure Center, Inman Elementary, Timken Community Center, Chesnee Community Center

Two camps in 2023 at Ellaberry Llama Farm where kids will learn to care for llamas, groom, and enjoy hikes with llamas.

• June 26-30, 2023
• July 24-28, 2023

Designed for children ages 8-10, campers will learn about life on a farm, including the responsibility of daily feeding, cleaning, grooming, animal care, and growing food and plants.

Offers: Half-day camp for children who love animals.  The program, which is held at the Spartanburg Humane Society, teaches campers about basic dog obedience, responsible pet care, and issues impacting animal welfare. Different week-long sessions are designed for kids in grades 5-7 and grades 8-10. Two-hour mini-camps are also offered for children entering grades 3 and 4.

Ballyhoo Petting Zoo is offering an 8-week program for children 8 years old and up. Future Zookeepers will get to learn all about domestic and exotic animals including their diet, grooming, vet care, and more!

Soft Hands Horseback Riding is offering partial day summer camps for children ages 7-17. Campers will learn about horseback riding safety, breeds, colors, tack, and more!

Offers: Daily riding lesson or trail ride, educational horse activities like grooming, saddling, horse safety, healthcare, and feeding. Campers will also enjoy horsey arts & crafts, a Bible devotional, and a snack. For ages 6 – 14.

2023 schedule: June 12th – July 28th

There is a 3 day camp option and a 5 day camp option.
