YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp

Magic is in the adventure, and we can’t wait to start our 2023 summer adventure at YMCA of Greenville’s Summer Day Camp! Offered for school-aged children, the YMCA of Greenville hosts a variety of weekly camps like full-day traditional camp and teen camp, half-day specialty camps for sports, aquatics, dance, and science, and extended day camp for specialty camp participants who want the full-day experience.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and YMCA Program Center (Simpsonville). 

Every week, counselors and staff work hard to instill the Y’s core values of respect, caring, honesty, responsibility, and faith all in a safe and fun environment.

Fundamental Communications is a natural environment-based therapy group consisting of a team of pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Kroc Greenville Summer Camps: Make this a summer to remember by enrolling your kids in Kroc Greenville’s Summer Camps! Participants aged 6-12 are welcome to attend one of two fantastic summer camps, Summer Sports Camp and Summer Art Camp. These half-day camps are sure to keep your child engaged through age-specific activities designed by our knowledgeable and passionate staff.

Sports Camp: Our Summer Sports Camp features a different sport each week! Here, participants will learn about and play a different sport each week.

Art Camp: Our Summer Art Camp participants will enjoy the creative process of making and exploring with various art mediums.

What you need to know: Both camps take place at Kroc Greenville and feature indoor and outdoor activities. There is time allotted for participants to enjoy a snack from home. Participants even have the opportunity to swim at the end of each day, so be sure to pack a swimsuit!

Elements of Art

For first-time kindergartners or rising 1st graders

If you have a K5 child that doesn’t want to miss out on fun with art, then bring your beginner to M&G for a special kindergarten camp focused on the Elements of Art. Your child will enjoy multiple art projects, age-appropriate lessons, interactive games, and snacks while learning about line, shape, color, and texture. This 5-day morning camp will keep your young starter so engaged, he won’t even know he’s learning!

Art Around the World

1st—6th grade (ages 6-12)

Italy, China, Egypt, Australia! Students will learn about animal symbolism, colors, patterns and much more as they explore different art forms from around the globe. This 5-day morning camp includes artistic and cultural discoveries, snacks, and new friends, and it concludes with a special art exhibition for young creatives to showcase their week’s adventures.

Join International Ballet for an exciting Summer Experience! Ballet Camps are held Monday – Friday and feature age appropriate ballet emphasizing creativity, coordination, and musicality. Students will explore all facets of the art of ballet, learning about the story, music and costumes of classic story ballets. Theme of the first week is “Cinderella”, the theme of the 2nd week is “Sleeping Beauty”. Each week of camp culminates with an in-studio performance for parents and friends of our young campers to show off what they’ve learned. Trying to figure out what to do this summer? MOTIVE offers a fun solution for kids ages five and up with our weekly summer camps! Their facility is equipped with obstacles from the American Ninja Warrior TV show as well as parkour equipment, a foam pit, and two Olympic-style trampolines. Join MOTIVE for an entire week!

Students will create a minimum of two (2) pieces, one to keep, and one to sell at an annual fundraising benefit, where the proceeds will be donated to local animal rescue organizations.

About SCCT’s Education Program
Established in 1992, SCCT’s Theatre Arts Conservatory is a year-round program for students ages 3-18. The format includes Advanced-Level Studios, Intermediate, Process, Musical Theatre, Story Drama, and Exploration Classes, as well as Specialty Classes & Workshops. Each format offers unique games, activities, and challenges for the theatre student.

We believe that theatre arts training is like any other form of training; the more you do it, the better you get. 2023 camps will begin May 31! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC. It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. TRIUMPH AND LIBERTY SOCCER CAMP!

The Triumph Soccer Camp is an opportunity to improve your soccer skills, create friendships, and have fun! Boys and girls ages 8-14 years old may participate in the spectacular three-day soccer event. From beginner to intermediate soccer levels, our staff will create a training environment that assists all participant’s levels of ability where they can thrive. 

The Liberty camp is June 19-21 at Bob Jones University Campus.

The first-ever Path2Pro camp hosted by Liberty is a great way to elevate your soccer potential.  Girls ages 14-17 years old may participate.  This camp is for the elite soccer player who desires to advance their soccer match skill integration and intellect. Participants will have the amazing experience of learning from, Liberty Head Coach Julie Carlson, Liberty soccer players and the stage set for pathway to pro.

Greenville Explorers’ Summer Camp programming is a full 5 day week with full days of camp for K2 thru 5th graders. Each week has a fun interactive theme attached that includes Arts Extravaganza; Global Chef Adventures; Trailblazers & Treasure Hunters; and Planes, Trains, & Automobiles! Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks will be provided as well as themed activities, free play, and field trips & excursions (depending on age). Dance Without Limits is excited to offer themed dance camps for ages 3-10 this summer!

We offer half-day and full-day options. Our camps include lots of dancing, themed crafts, games, and a snack.

On Fridays, we do a special performance for families!

Offers: Designed for young artists between 1st and 12th grades, the Glow Lyric Theatre Opera Experience provides an introduction to the many facets of opera performance and helps young artists develop as singers and actors.

Offers: Week-long half-day art camps with various themes such as Star Wars, ballet, and dinosaurs. Kids can learn how to make jewelry, tie-dye, use glow paint, and more! For ages 4 and up and varies by program.

Interactive STEAM cooking and food science camp for children rising 1st grade – 6th grade.

Children will work together to build an escape room that is immersive. The themes explored include puzzle writing, gamemastering, implementing a theme, and more. Registration is open.

The camp will run from June 20th to June 24th. Parents can drop children off at 8:30 am (camp begins at 9 am). Pickup begins at 12:30 and ends at 1 pm.
A morning snack will be provided. An escape room with two family members and photos will conclude camp at the end of the week.
