YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp
Every summer has a story, and we can’t wait to start our Summer 2022 adventure at YMCA of Greenville’s Summer Day Camp! Offered for school-aged children, the YMCA of Greenville hosts a variety of weekly camps like full-day traditional summer day camp and teen camp, half-day specialty camps for sports, aquatics, dance, and science, and extended day camp for specialty camp participants who want the full-day experience.
Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and YMCA Program Center (Simpsonville).
We will continue to implement best practices from the CDC and SC state guidelines for COVID childcare policies and procedures.

YMCA Camp Greenville
For years, generations of campers have experienced YMCA Camp Greenville’s “magic on the mountain.” Our unique mountaintop setting on 1,400 acres and adventurous programs make for unforgettable experiences that provide a lifetime of memories.
Camp Greenville has 3 overnight session offerings:
Base Camp: Our traditional overnight experience. Live in cabins, eat meals in the dining hall, enjoy campfires, evening programs and more.
Adventure Trips: Enjoy the camp experience while taking a trip with a specific activity focus. Campers spend two nights at camp, then leave for three nights on their trip, and return for the final night back at camp.
Specialty Camps: Our stand-alone options include Mini week (a 3-night session for our youngest campers), Parent + Me (for campers and their parents), and Leadership Development Program for high schoolers.

As a family-owned local business, Greenville Martial Art Center knows the value of a camp structures to keep children mentally engaged and physically active all summer.
This summer your child will be learning the importance of these values through the different themes we have developed in preparation for camp. Themes such as Art Week, Nature Exploration Week, and Games Galore are all structured and formatted with your child’s developmental needs and interests in mind. As an added bonus, they will get a much-needed break from the everyday droll of screen usage. Instead, they’ll have fun exercising, building character, learning how to stay safe, and sharpening new skills! These camps are action-packed with a new theme each week, tons of field trips, and Taekwondo classes for students at any level!
All-Day Camp begins June 6th and runs for 10 weeks, Monday through Friday. Camps are affordable to every family and a variety of discounts are offered including Early Enrollment (by the end of February), as well as Multi-Week. WELCOME TO SUMMER ENCOUNTERS, CAMPS FOR CURIOUS KIDS!
2022 camps will begin May 31! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC. It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. Summer Encounters programming offers 260 unique summer camps during 11 weeks, exploring content in academics, sports, art, drama, cooking, science, technology, and service learning. With a variety of day camp activities, extended day options, and schedules offered, the possibility of what your child can discover during the summer is as intriguing as it is convenient. Last year approximately 1000 campers from over 100 schools explored with us.

Southern Martial Arts offers weekly rates which include field trips, 2 snacks per day, 2 weekly martial arts of Jiu Jitsu classes and 11 hours of childcare daily
Summer Ninja Camp is available weekdays during the summer from 7 am – 6 pm and includes karate classes and group activities.
Spartanburg Martial Arts offers a weekly summer camp for students from kindergarten – 8th grade Monday-Friday. In addition to martial arts lessons, Kickin’ Kids take daily field trips, play games, and practice sports.
