YMCA of Greenville offers full-day and afterschool care options for school-aged children in a nurturing,
safe and enriching environment. During full-day care, children will have eLearning and academic support,
along with traditional after school activities.

Academic Assistance Offered:
The YMCA will provide internet access and space for students to complete scheduled eLearning tasks
from 7:45 AM-2:15 PM. Traditional after school enrichment activities such as Health & Wellness, Art,
21st Century Skills, Global Learning and Leadership Development will resume 2:15 – 6pm.
We will also incorporate “brain breaks” throughout the day to allow students time for other activities and
socialization. Our YMCA staff team will work in partnership with your family to support academic success
through assistance with classwork and homework assignments, but responsibility for ensuring that
homework assignments are successfully submitted by required deadlines will ultimately fall to participants’
families.
Greenville County Schools will be providing training and resources through their Academic Department
for our staff who will be supporting eLearning.
Health and Safety Covid-19 Policies: The Y is committed to ensuring that our spaces are as safe and healthy as possible. Full-day Childcare and Traditional After School participants will have their temperatures taken and complete a health
questionnaire each day upon arrival. Staff will be wearing masks. Group activities and lunchtimes will be modified to respect social distancing recommendations, and huddle groups will remain consistent (max of 11 children per huddle group), in accordance with CDC guidelines and students will be separated by age. Supplies will not be shared during enrichment activities. Participants will be asked to wash their hands frequently throughout the day. We ask that parents keep us informed if their child has potentially been exposed to the virus, begins to exhibit symptoms, or tests positive for COVID-19. During drop-off and pick-up, parents are asked to stay in their vehicles and not enter the building.
Tuition:
Our center welcomes school age children ages 5–12 for 100% virtual learning or eLearning days, and we’ll make sure they have a blast.

Ages: 4K-5th grade
Academic Assistance Offered: Their teacher from the elementary school will be their teacher, but our teacher will be there to help if needed. Our teacher will be there to remind the child to raise their hand if appropriate and coach them to participate. She will act more as a teacher’s aide and will not necessarily be a certified teacher.

Enrichment Hills is a working South Carolina non-profit educational farm in Dacusville providing learning for students through hands-on experiential education with animals and the land.
Program Hours: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
Ages: 4th – 8th grades
Academic Assistance Offered: A staff member with a Masters degree in in Education supervises e-learning.

Reaching Our Youth-Upstate, Inc. is an organization that was created by the Husband & Wife team, for the purpose of empowering and educating the underprivileged and at-risk youth, in our community. We offer both after school and summer programs, to help alleviate some of the academic pressures that the student and parent may face daily.

Academic Assistance Offered: We are gearing up for the “new” and upcoming 2020-2021 school year!! We
understand that this will be a different view on school this year and it will have a drastic affect on how families will be able to accommodate for their child’s academic success. Our center will offer the luxury of still providing services for both in school
students (Afterschool Care) and students who choose to work from home (Virtual Learning). Our obligation is to make sure that each child has an equal opportunity to obtain their schoolwork and earn the best grade possible, with adequate resources
and technology.
Our current teachers and tutors are qualified and equipped to handle the Elearning.
We were able to have 80 percent of our students maintain either AB Honor Roll or All A’s, during the initial COVID19 pandemic, when Elearning was implemented.
Health and Safety Covid-19 Policies:
1) All parents will drop-off and pick-up at the door.
2) All children will have their temperature checked when entering the center and before they enter the bus (After-school pickup).
3) We will continue to sanitize and clean all areas used daily.
4) All children will continue to wash their hands (with soap and water) before meals and after outside play.
5) We will maintain the social-distancing rule, while working in the classrooms.

Virtual Learning Cost & Hours: $100 (weekly tuition) / Monday-Friday 7:30 am- 6:30 pm (After School will be included, in the weekly tuition rate)
