My Review of The Charleston Museum
My husband and I enjoyed our tour of The Charleston Museum. It’s an excellent spot to start a Charleston tour, as the museum provides quite a bit of background information on the area. Some of the most interesting exhibits to my family were:
- Life size Hunley replica outside the museum
- Kidstory with its pirate ship, crayon rubbing station, small house with colonial dress-up outfits, plus more
- George Washington’s christening cup
- Francis Marion’s uniform
- Several interesting animal skeletons and fossils including a whale skeleton
- an Egyptian mummy
