The only children’s museum exhibit in South Carolina dedicated to life in the Upstate during the Revolutionary War era, created in recognition of South Carolina’s 250th anniversary. Immersive, hands-on, and built for children and families.

The exhibit features a log cabin building station and life-sized covered wagon, an interactive map highlighting Upstate Revolutionary War heroes, a toddler farm play area, a recreation of Dicey Langston’s cabin, a hands-on quilt-making station, and a family storytelling fire pit.

Celebrate opening day on Saturday, June 27, with a special pop art experience led by American artist Michael Albert from 10 am–3 pm, where kids create artwork from recycled materials inspired by America’s 250th anniversary. The first 100 children to visit receive a commemorative SC250 gift. All activities are included with admission.
