Holiday Events and Things to Do in Travelers Rest

Celebrate Christmas in the Park, attend a free ornament crafting workshop, or decorate yourself in lights! You’re in for a treat with a Travelers Rest Christmas!

  • Holiday Hop and Tree Lighting
    Saturday, November 30th, 2024 | 3 pm to 7 pm
    A day of fun festivities including FREE photos with Santa in Downtown Travelers Rest
    • Polar Express train rides

    • Snowball fights at the Gazebo
    • FREE Make-and-Take Christmas Craft Stations
  • The Travelers Rest Christmas Parade
    Saturday, December 14th, 2024 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
    At 10:00 AM the parade will start at North Main Street at Travelers Rest High School (no parking will be available at the school).
    The parade will end at South Main Street at Roe Center Ct. The parade will NOT go to City Hall, so do not set up there.
  • Travelers Rest Christmas Market
    Saturday, December 14th, 2024 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    All of your favorite upstate local merchants in one convenient holiday market! You can grab some last-minute holiday gifts following the Very Groovy Christmas Parade!
