$1 Movies at Regal Cinemas
Have a Regal Cinema near you and looking for a “dollar theater near me”? Regal Cinemas offers kid friendly Regal Summer Movie Express all summer long! Regal offers these showings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a $1 ticket price beginning June 10th, 2025- August 6th, 2025. What a deal! All movies are blockbusters that have either G or PG ratings. They will also have snack packs that include popcorn, a drink, and fruit snacks. The highly anticipated summer program can sell out, so order tickets early.
Regal Cinema has two Greenville locations, two Spartanburg locations, and theaters in Anderson, Simpsonville, and Asheville.

You can enjoy Super Saver Tuesday at Santikos in Anderson $5.99 gets guests admission, which is much cheaper than a normal ticket. Tickets must be purchased at the box office day of, and is on a first come, first serve basis.

We are curious about what inexpensive events are around Greenville. We are new to the area and recently retired, so the dollar movies sound promissing, but it appears they are mostly kid movies. We will be looking forward to your suggestions.
There are free movies shown in Falls Park at the beginning and end of the summer that target adults. You would likely also enjoy the free summer Shakespeare performances at Falls Park as well in the summer. GCMA offers free Sunday programming most Sundays and there are also free summer concerts at most of the downtown areas during the warm months. I would also recommend checking out the festival schedule as most of that is free (besides parking). I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
How do you find out about the movies that are playing and where?
I’m trying to find a movie theater in the Greenville/Simpsonville area with discounted tickets for my grand kids, but on the weekends only. Camelot is all I could find for one adult and 3 kids at $31, not including popcorn & drinks. $50 is a lot for a movie.
There is a $1 theater in Spartanburg if you are willing to drive.
