Brushy Mountain Apple Festival

The Brushy Mountain Apple Festival fills downtown North Wilkesboro with one of the Southeast’s largest one-day arts and crafts festivals. Organized by the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club, the free festival features more than 300 arts and crafts vendors, 50 food concessions, and three stages of bluegrass, country, folk, gospel, and Appalachian heritage music, plus cloggers, folk dancers, and square dancers. Local apple growers sell fresh apples, cider, and dried apples throughout the festival.
