Appalachian Autumn Market & Fall Festival
Hickory Ridge History Museum hosts a free afternoon celebrating the craft, culture, and community of the High Country at its Appalachian Autumn Market & Fall Festival. Families can watch live Appalachian music and storytelling, try hands-on heritage crafts like apple-butter making, candle-dipping, weaving, and pumpkin painting, take self-guided cabin tours, and shop local makers. Highlights include Orville Hicks storytelling with Mary Greene from 4-5 PM and an open old-time jam session from 5:30-6 PM.
