Are you a lover of donuts? Have you heard that a new place is waddling into town? Greenville residents love their donuts and are going to have another donut shop to get their fix. Duck Donuts is opening its first location in the Upstate and people are excited!

The Grand Opening Of The Greenville Duck Donuts location

The grand opening of its first franchise location in Greenville and the fifth store in South Carolina is set for Saturday, June 6, at 8 a.m. Owned by Greg and Julie Terry, the store is located in Plaza on Pelham at 3935 Pelham Road in Greenville. The 1,597 sq. ft. retail store reflects the franchise’s newly redesigned iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with limited indoor seating. In addition to donuts, the Greenville location also serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends—Riptide Roast, Light House Blend, and Sunset Pier Decaf, espresso, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, new menu items including frozen beverages and milkshakes, select retail items, and more.

To celebrate the grand opening, Duck Donuts Greenville has selected the Thomas Few H2O House, which will serve as a place for an after-school program, laundry service, and showers for families in need, to receive its inaugural Quack Gives Back donation. The store is supporting the organization’s mission through the end of June. The Quack Gives Back program promotes partnering with community groups to raise awareness and funds for their causes.

Meet The Owners

“Greg and I fell in love with these customizable, delicious donuts at the Hilton Head Island store and now we’re so excited to bring the first Duck Donuts to the Upstate,” said Julie Terry. “We’re looking forward to being part of Greenville’s continued growth and meeting all of the donut fans in our community!” The Terrys worked in a family business before opening the Duck Donuts location. Greg is a Clemson University graduate and an avid Clemson fan. Greenville neighbors may spot the couple’s “Duck Truck” – a donut-themed Toyota 4Runner – around town.

How Duck Donuts Is Keeping Their Guests Safe

Duck Donuts and the Terrys are committed to customer and employee safety as South Carolina recovers from COVID-19. Employees will wear gloves at all times. High-touch surfaces will be frequently sanitized and the store will remain in compliance with all state and federal cleanliness guidelines. Customers are encouraged to order online or through the Duck Donuts Rewards app in advance and can choose to pick up their orders curbside or in the store. Fifty percent of in-store seating has been removed and customers will be asked to maintain a 6-foot distance from one another. Like all Duck Donuts, pickup orders will be made to order and handed over warm to customers at their scheduled pickup time.

What’s On The Menu

Duck Donuts specializes in warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts. Upon entering the store, customers are welcomed with the aroma of warm, light vanilla cake donuts. Customers can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon. The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made.

Donuts at this location will be made fresh to order 7 days a week.
