Step into the shadows on Trade Street: Ruffians & Scoundrels, the world-famous classic ghost tour. Uncover the dark, forgotten secrets of Greer’s history on a family-friendly walking adventure. Tours set off from the train depot at the corner of Randall and Trade Streets and haunt their way to the Greer Heritage Museum. Each fully accessible tour lasts about an hour. Advance online booking required (no walk-ups).

Description:
Greenville’s biggest block party returns for its 45th year! Graze your way down Main Street with 60 local restaurants serving 300+ menu items, and catch a record 92 bands across seven free stages. Little ones can head to the WOW! Fiber Kids’ Area on East Broad Street for their own corner of the fun. The festival is ticketless, so bring a credit or debit card (or a festival gift card) to pay at vendor booths.

Pro Tip: Saturday opens earliest at 11 a.m. Arrive right at opening for lighter crowds with kids, and check the interactive festival map before you go to find the Kids’ Area, restrooms and your must-try booths.

Bring the family for a free, fun-filled afternoon of discovery hosted by Clemson’s Science Outreach Center! Try hands-on activities, meet fascinating specimens, explore the night sky, and see science in action. Free snow cones will be served.

Make elephant toothpaste foam, reveal secret messages with disappearing ink, create rainbow tornadoes, and discover the science of flight with paper airplanes and a trebuchet. You can also explore genetics through tiger stripes, twist a Möbius band, solve math and logic puzzles, watch a Rubik’s Cube demonstration, and more. Planetarium shows and Museum of Natural History specimens round out the adventure.
