Create Halloween crafts in our recreation building. We’ll provide the supplies, you provide the creativity! Free with park admission. Please note special event admission applies: Adults $5, children 15 and under $3, children under 5 free, SC seniors/disabled $3.25 each.
Join in for a fun evening of Trick-or-Treating at Lake Hartwell State Park on Saturday October 24, 2026. The cost is $5 per car.
You’re invited to join in for a Halloween Spooktacular at Table Rock State Park! Bring the whole family for an evening filled with holiday fun, laughter, games, treats, and a little spooky excitement.
Step into the Spook Barn for an entertaining adventure featuring games, prizes, candy, and plenty of fun for all ages. Enjoy the Trunk-or-Treat, where creatively decorated vehicles will be ready to hand out treats to costumed visitors.
Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume if you’d like, and get ready to make some festive memories with family and friends!
Join in for trick or treating in both campgrounds from 5pm-7pm. Free with paid admission. Not all campers/campsites will participate. Please note special event admission applies: Adults $5, Child 15 and under $3, Child 5 and under free, SC senior/disabled $3.25. You must wear a costume to trick or treat.
Join a ranger for a fun-filled evening exploring the world of bats through interactive games, stories, and facts, plus a short .75-mile dusk walk along Lake Placid and Mountain Creek at Paris Mountain State Park. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring a flashlight or headlamp. All ages welcome; registration required, capacity limited to 25.

Ranger-led family hike observing seasonal changes in the park.
Friday, October 30
Celebrate Bat Week at Table Rock State Park with bat crafts, activities, and trivia games, followed by a bat count you can help with. Bring water and craft-friendly clothing.
Put on your favorite costume and join Oconee State Park at the Barn for a spooky square dance with live music by the Dixie Bluegrass Boys. Halftime brings Halloween-themed line dancing for all ages and skill levels — beginners welcome. Bring comfortable dancing shoes, water, and your Halloween spirit.

Head up to Paris Mountain State Park for a laid-back Saturday afternoon of live music at the newly rebuilt, solar-powered amphitheater! “Music in the Woods” is hosted by the Friends of Paris Mountain and offers free live music (after regular park admission) in a beautiful outdoor setting — a great way for the whole family to spend a fall afternoon outdoors. Join in at Oconee State Park for a spook-tacular Halloween evening filled with candy, games, and fall magic!
Kids 13 and under can wander through the campground loops and trick-or-treat at creatively decorated campsites, soaking in the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season. Before the candy hunt begins, head to the barn for action-packed games and giant inflatables from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., or take a hay ride and enjoy the crisp autumn air during the same hours. As the sun sets, the campground transforms into a festive trick-or-treat trail from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Costumes are highly encouraged, and the fun is guaranteed!
To keep our young ghosts and goblins safe, the campground will be closed to all vehicle and golf cart traffic during the event. It’s all the thrills of Halloween and the charm of fall, free with park admission.

Enjoy traditional Blue Grass music as local musicians gather at Table Rock to keep this inspirational talent alive. Visitors are invited to bring their acoustic instruments and join in a jam session or simply sit back to enjoy the music with the lake and mountains as a beautiful backdrop.

Step into the shadows of the past as Oconee Station comes alive by candlelight. As dusk settles over the frontier, the flicker of flames will guide your way through the historic site. Meet the Interpreter and uncover the little-known stories of militia men stationed here after the American Revolution.

Celebrate the season Oconee-style with a festive holiday party featuring hot cocoa, cookies, joyful music, and a take-home holiday craft. The fun wraps up just in time to drive through the Holiday Light Show on your way home.
