Afternoon Explorations at RMSC- Grinchy Science

RMSC Afternoon Explorations is back! Open each Thursday and Friday from 1:30-5 PM during the school year visitors will be able to ignite their curiosity in some of their favorite spaces.
Environmental Science and Sustainability Building – Discover Our Water Story and Sustainable Future exhibits and trade treasures in the always-popular Nature Exchange.

Harrison Hall of Natural Science – Wander through the Indoor Rain Forest, meet fascinating plants, animals, and invertebrates, touch stingrays, sea stars, and horseshoe crabs in the Marine Lab, and explore South Carolina’s ecosystems in the Ecology Lab.

Living History Farm – Step into 19th-century South Carolina life in the Backcountry.

Dinosaur Adventure Trail – Hunt for young and adult dinosaurs on this family favorite trail.

Pirate Adventure & Dinosaur Playgrounds – Let imaginations soar through hands-on, creative play.

Butterfly Garden – Relax and take in the natural beauty around you
