Hawk Watch

Head up to Caesars Head Overlook to watch one of nature’s most spectacular events — hawk migration! Each fall, thousands of hawks ride the prevailing wind currents south for the winter, and this overlook offers a great front-row seat. Park staff will share the science behind hawk migration while everyone keeps an eye out for a sighting. Bring your binoculars and dress for the ridge-top breeze. Designed for ages 15 and up, with space limited — reservations required.
