History Comes Alive – Step Into 1776: Meet A Soldier

Join in on June 23 at 5:30 PM to meet with a Revolutionary War Militiaman. Living Historian Bill Williamson will be there to portray a militia soldier from South Carolina. He will have all his gear and be ready to tell you about what it took to be in the South Carolina militia during the American Revolution. Several of his ancestors were from the Ninety-Six District and served under Andrew Pickens. Bill draws his inspiration from them and loves to share the history of South Carolina while honoring their service.
