A Musical Adventure Based on Jon Klassen’s Beloved Picture Book
Bear’s hat is gone, and he wants it back! He asks all the animals in the forest, but no one has seen it… or have they? Join Bear on this rollicking musical adventure full of deadpan humor, zany characters, and clever physical comedy as he searches for his beloved red hat.
Based on Jon Klassen’s celebrated picture book, this production invites kids and grown-ups alike to think about honesty, empathy, and the choices we make — all while immersing them in a world that’s as clever as it is unforgettable.
“I Want My Hat Back mixes Jon Klassen’s signature deadpan humor with clever physical comedy, zany characters, and lively music that keeps audiences laughing from start to finish… this production invites kids, young and old alike, to think about honesty, empathy, and the choices we make—not just following what we want—while fully immersing them in a world that’s as clever as it is unforgettable.” — Peggy Trecker White
