Screentember: The Muppets

What is the meaning of life? How can a person achieve true happiness? What is the true meaning of right and wrong? Are you a man or are you a Muppet? These are some of the greatest philosophical questions of their time. In The Muppets, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, Kermit and co. attempt to answer at least one of these questions, bringing along all of the Muppets’ trademark humor, wit, and warmth. After the Muppet Theater is put up for sale and demolition, besties and brothers Gary (Jason Segel) and Walter (…Walter) decide to do something about it, but as always, nothing is ever easy with the Muppets in town. Featuring fantastic original music (including an Oscar-winning song!!), a clever plot and cameos galore, this is one to see on the big screen in the Barrett Room. And there may even be a Muppet in attendance! Screentember showings include English subtitles as distributors permit.
