Has your gym shut down? Are you finding it harder to make healthy choices? Right now, it’s more important than ever to care for your health both for the physical and mental benefits.

But, how do you keep healthy when your kids keep begging to make cookies and the activity of choice seems to be binge watching Netflix? Wearing comfy pants for weeks on end presents its own sets of dangers.

If you are like me and connection with others and daily gym habits help you stay active, then you need this list of local places that are providing virtual live classes and online accountability groups for the Greenville/Spartanburg region.

You might even find yourself dancing to a video with a lady in a hot dog costume. I have.

Other Popular and Free Online Exercise Videos

Our readers suggested some other online resources that while not local are still helpful right now.

Cosmic Kids Yoga combines yoga moves with fun characters and stories that your kids will love. Their videos are a great way to destress before bed or energize before schoolwork.

Les Mills has made over 100 of their workout videos available for free right now due to the number of their participating gyms closing. If you are used to workouts like Body Flow, Body Combat, or Barre, you can find those classes here. Many of the workouts are taped in magnificent outdoor settings too.

Peloton has extended their free trial period to 90 days in an effort to make their classes available for those stuck at home right now.

If you like exercise without the frills, Fitness Blender has a full library of videos that are sortable by amount of time, goals, and even equipment.

We are sure that there are many other local options. Please send us an email at bethany@kiddingaroundgreenville.com and tell us what we missed!

Please excuse any errors. I’m attempting to write this while a child is giving me the full rundown of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
