It’s a Greenville tradition of 50+ years to pick up a Pepsi birthday Party Pack! Have a little one turning 6 this year? One thing that I love about raising my family in the same city that I grew up in is the shared experiences that my kids and I have from our childhoods. Thank you to Pepsi of Greenville for sponsoring this article!
The free Pepsi Party Pack is one of those special experiences, available the first week of each month, that crosses both of our generations. I remember our excitement as kids when each of us received our Pepsi Party Pack at age 6. Watching my own 6-year-old experience the same excitement was double fun!

What is the Pepsi Party Pack?
When a child turns 6 in Greenville or Laurens counties, the Pepsi Plant in Greenville awards that child with a FREE Pepsi birthday party pack, which comes in a cool box and includes:
- 12 Pepsi Cans
- 12 Pepsi Balloons (not inflated)

- 12 Pepsi Tattoos
- A Pepsi party birthday certificate
These items could be used for a party or just a fun treat for your kids!

This is SO cool!!! Hope it’s still happening when my little one turns 6!
It’s been going on for a long time, so I think there’s a good chance!
My son (who just turned 55 last month) received his Pepsi Party Pack back in 1968! My husband was an employee of Pepsi for 15 years!
That’s amazing!
I got it when I was 6, currently 45
I have lived in Gville a looong time and never knew this! I missed my daughter’s 6th birthday but will not miss it when my son turns 6 next year!!!
So “kewl”… thanks for sharing!
I think I would have missed it myself if a friend hadn’t reminded me about it!
We just got my Grandson’s Pepsi Party Pack, because he’s turning 6 this month.
Thank you Pepsi 🎈❤️🎈❤
So is been two months since my son turned six. Am I too late?
Unfortunately, I think that’s correct, Heidi. I would call the Pepsi-Cola Plant just to see though.
How do i join the birthday club?? I can’t find it on the web page
Just take your child’s birth certificate by the Pepsi Plant on the month of or month after the 6th birthday. Times and dates are above.
Can grandparents pick up package with birth certificate
I would recommend just calling and asking first.
Does this Pepsi pack include spartanburg county too
My understanding is that you show up in person and present the birth certificate. So, I think as long as you can get to Greenville to pick it up you are fine. The tickets in the pack are Greenville specific.
Even though it says Sept. 7, it is Labor Day and they are NOT open. I called to confirm. Good thing! A 45 minute drive for a closed business would have been upsetting.
Thanks Krystal. We always recommended calling ahead as information does sometimes change. Glad that you found out before driving out!
I recommend calling ahead. I drove 45 minutes with my really excited daughter only to find them closed (even though they were supposed to be open). I called and left a message no one ever returned my call. I am still pretty sour about it. My daughter was pretty disappointed too. 🙁
I’m really sorry, Emily. Maybe you should try calling again. I would imagine that they would work with you. That is a good tip.
YYeah I remember that from my 6th Birthday, I’m 57 now. But we got it 4 R kids then 4 their kids. I know it has been around at lest 51 years. PEPSI IS BEST ANYWAY.
So, my little girl’s birthday is Wednesday and we were gonna bring her tomorrow. (MONDAY June 13) but from what I just read I don’t think it’ll be available? Is that correct?
No, Karey. The package is only available once per month for one week, but you can pick it up on the month of your child’s birthday or the month after so you could still pick it up in July.
We live in Anderson. But his bday was June 15 . can I get it this week and if so where Domingo and what do I need. I remember getting mine and my four kids got theirs.
Yes, this is the week that you can pick it up. Below is where to go and what to bring!
“Take your child’s birth certificate to the Pepsi Bottling Plant (751 State Park Road) on the month of or the month after your child turns 6 during the first full Mon-Sat week of the month between 1-5 p.m. (M-F) and 10-12 (S). Just go in the front door and there will be a clipboard to sign for your child’s birthday package.”
Happy birthday!
We just picked ours up today. So awesome! There was a little confusion on where to go though. The above states go in the front which to us meant the doors to the office facing the main road. It was actually through the gate on the side where we had to go. My daughter loves it! Thanks for letting us know!!
Do you need an official copy of the birthcertificate or is a photocopy okay?
I would call and ask!
Grandson will be 6 years old March 24
When can we pick up the Pepsi party.
And where.
This is so exciting
The first week of the month of his birth or the month after at the location we listed. Thanks!
My grandson turn 6 yrs old ths Tuesday on 18# went I pick up him a Pepsi party package
My mom took our five-year-old ( Will turn 6 on August 28th) today. She said it was really easy and the lady who helped her was very nice! She took my brother to this 32 years ago and was excited to take her grandson today!
I remember my mom taking me for my 6th birthday in 1986′ I will be taking my daughter this year😃
Hello. The Pepsi party box sounds amazing and interesting. My daughter wolill be 6 on Tuesday October 3rd and I was wondering is it too late and how how do you go about receiving this box if We’re in Greenville Ms?
It’s not too late – just go and pick it up during the hours they are open. You can only go this week though (the first week of the month). These are the details:
Take your child’s birth certificate to the Pepsi Bottling Plant (751 State Park Road) on the month of or the month after your child turns 6 during the first full Mon-Sat week of the month between 1-5 p.m. (M-F) and 10-12 (S). Just go in the front door and there will be a clipboard to sign for your child’s birthday package.
I’m literally tearing up my house looking for son’s birth certificate. We are in middle of moving and I completely forgot about this. She will be devastated!!!
They allow you to pick it up a month after your child turns six as well – so if you miss it this month, go the first week of April. If you have any questions, call the Pepsi Bottling Plant at 864.242.6041.
*he
We got our daughter’s birthday box last week! Pepsi does include vouchers for the cupcakes and individual ice cream cups from Ingles. There is a catch though. You have to have an Ingles card. We rarely shop there, so I didn’t have one. Just wanted to give a heads up on that!
We picked up my son’s box today (November 2018). They didn’t have the hockey tickets so they took our address and said they would mail them. We went through the front doors, showed birth certificate, and filled the form out and walked out with the cool box, which included a voucher for the cupcakes and ice cream for Ingles. There is a certificate for 4 tickets to the zoo that expires at the end of the year. My son said “does this mean I’m old enough to drink Pepsi now?” Nope, sorry still milk or water for you, buddy 🙂 My son is super excited to be 6 now!
Does he have to live in Greenville county?
Nope
Today we’re going to pick up our 3rd generation of Pepsi party packs. This has been a big deal for our family since I was a little girl. Now it’s my granddaughter’s turn. So excited!
I remember when I turned 6 in 1966, got the pepsi birthday package, a child never forgets it lol thanks pepsi, still bringing happiness to our lil ones
I just saw the dates and today was the last day for the month of July. My son turns 6 July 25 would it be to late to bring him the first week of August?
I missed my son’s 6th birthday in November. Is it too late to bring him in December?? He loves Pepsi!!
You can get it in December. It’s the month of or month after the birthday.
Pepsi is very very very generous to do the party pack. And we did it two years ago for our eight-year-old grandchild and it was wonderful as they have done this so so many years. It is a true Greenville tradition. They are very kind generous and it’s just a very unique program. A highlight of the upstate. Thank you to Pepsi and all the sponsors like Ingles and the zoo and the drives program
I just took my daughter to get the post COVID party pack (she turned 6 in March 2020) and here’s what was in the pack: soda, pencils, tattoos, balloons, coupon for 6 cupcakes at ingles, coupon for icecream sundae cups at ingles, and a certificate. The Greenville zoo is still open so I was hoping for the 4 passes, but oh well, my daughter was super excited about the gift! She is 6, so even the little things like balloons and pencils can be exciting if you make it a big deal 😉
I got mine in 1967. I still have the certificate. I’m 62.
Could the birthday package be mailed if it could. I have a daughter turning 6 in October but don’t have a way to get it.
No
