Event Details

On October 23, 2021 from 10 am – 1 pm, the 1st annual Greer Children’s Business Fair will host young entrepreneurs at Devenger Road Presbyterian Church (1200 Devenger Road Greer SC 29650).

The CBF helps children develop in a fun & practical way the valuable life skills entrepreneurship provides. Using their curiosity and creativity, kids create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace.

The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers. Parents can provide some guidance, but they are highly encouraged to let their kids own this experience as much as possible. As a result, the kids have the opportunity to learn about leadership, courage, confidence, perseverance, and responsibility.

“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and leaders. The Children’s Business Fair gives students the opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings,” said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business, one of the sponsors of the fair.

This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business, Devenger Road Presbyterian Church, and the generous support of other donors and volunteers.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Those visiting the CBF will want to bring cash with them as they are sure to find a lot of great products made & services offered by our young entrepreneurs.
