Knee-high Naturalists
Knee-high Naturalists at Conestee Nature Preserve is an environmental education program designed for little nature lovers ages 2–5 and their grown-ups! Sessions may include stories, songs, hands-on activities, crafts, movement, and outdoor exploration.
Time: 9:30–10:30 am

Oct. 8 & 10 – Bats/Nocturnal Animals
Nov. 12 & 14 – Invertebrates/Snails
Dec. 10 & 12 – Wintering Birds/Bird Feeders

Feb. 11 & 13 – Aquatic Animals/Frogs
March 11 & 13 – Metamorphosis/Caterpillars & Butterflies
April 8 & 10 – Earth Day
May 13 & 15 – Synchronization/Fireflies
Who: Ages 2–5 with a parent or guardian
Cost: $10 for the first child (includes one parent); $8 for each additional child or adult. Children under 2 are free but must be registered at the full child rate to participate in the craft.
Location: Meeting locations vary throughout Conestee Nature Preserve. Registered participants will receive location details by email before each session.
Registration Deadline: Midnight on the Tuesday before class.
Bring: A water bottle. Apply sunscreen and bug spray before class as needed.
