Of course, we had to try some of the food while we were there.
My husband went with the fish and chips, complete with malt vinegar and tartar sauce, and I chose the Squire’s Bratwurst. Both fit right in with the whole tavern experience. The menu keeps the theme going with choices like the Blacksmith Burger and Ranger’s Reuben, alongside plenty of other tavern-inspired options. Even the names make ordering lunch feel like part of the adventure.
And since you can’t visit a meadery and not try the mead, we had to give that a try too. We chose the Elderberry Mead with Hibiscus, and we enjoyed its light, fruity, floral flavor. It’s those little details, from the themed menu names to the mead itself, that make a meal at Fae Nectar feel like more than just stopping somewhere for lunch. You’re settling into a medieval tavern and getting to enjoy the whole experience.
Good to know: If mead isn’t your thing, the Celtic Kitchen also offers local beers, wines, ciders, craft sodas, and sparkling waters. There’s something for every adventurer at the table.
