Fluor Field Freedom Fest 2026

FREE EVENT! If you’re looking for a way to celebrate the 4th of July that won’t cost a thing, Fluor Field is the place to be. Fluor Field is throwing Freedom Fest on Saturday, July 4, with gates opening at 6 p.m. The lineup is packed: field day games, inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, pickleball, cornhole, a hot dog eating contest, a live DJ, kids’ cool zone, photo stations, food and drinks, and an in-park screening of The Sandlot before fireworks light up the sky at 9:30 p.m.

Admission is FREE but complimentary tickets are required. Fluor Field is located at 945 S. Main St. in Greenville.

“Unity Park is one of our favorite fireworks displays each July. We always park in downtown Greenville, then walk the Swamp Rabbit Trail to Unity Park. There is plenty of space, and no place is a bad view. Just know that if you do decide to walk downtown, you have to get the ‘all clear’ after the fireworks to take the trail back, which can be about 30 minutes after the show.”

    What happened with Furman?? They usually have a great show of Fireworks and a Symphony playing at the same time!! Are they not doing it this year??
