YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp

Day Camp at the YMCA of Greenville is a great place for children and teens to start finding magic in the adventure! We are excited to have your camper experience a fun-filled, exciting summer!

It is important that your child has a wonderful “first”, “second”…or “seventh” camp experience. The YMCA of Greenville’s goal is to create an atmosphere of trust and friendship so that each camper will feel happy and confident at camp. Campers’ activities include but are not limited to: assemblies, choice activities based on weekly themes, skits, stories, arts & crafts, fitness activities, relays, character development, academic enrichment and counselor huddle times.

The YMCA of Greenville camp program is progressively structured to challenge children according to their age. Camp programming is planned to give children an introduction to a wide variety of camp activities, along with providing them the opportunity for creative expression.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and Prisma Health Family YMCA (Simpsonville).

Financial assistance is available for most camps.

Fundamental Communications is a natural environment-based therapy group consisting of a team of pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapists. We proudly provide services in a variety of locations including schools, clinics, child care centers, and homes. Our experienced and caring professionals provide individualized treatment for the pediatric population. Our goal is to engage children in fun and meaningful therapy to help them achieve their highest potential.

Many of our therapists have summer openings for speech, occupational, and physical therapy. If you are interested in continuing with therapy throughout the summer, please call our office for availability.

Even though children need a break from the rigor of school, summer vacation offers opportunities to learn and develop in a more relaxed setting outside the structure of school. A flexible summer schedule also offers more opportunities for children and therapists to work on those challenges that they haven’t had time to address.

Children can enjoy more therapy time outside with the added benefit of natural vitamin D. Plus, playing outside can work several different therapies at once!

All of our therapists are BabyNet certified providers, so therapy is FREE through the age of 3! After that, we bill directly to your insurance for coverage.

Trying to figure out what to do this summer? MOTIVE offers a fun solution for kids ages five and up with our weekly summer camps! Their facility is equipped with obstacles from the American Ninja Warrior TV show as well as parkour equipment, a foam pit, and two Olympic-style trampolines.

Join MOTIVE for an entire week! Camp will be held Monday through Friday every week of Summer, from May 26th -August 8th. Kids will be grouped with others around their age and participate in ninja warrior obstacle courses, games, crafts, open gym time, and much more.

-$295 for a full week of half-day camp (your choice of either 9 am-12:30 pm or 12:30 pm-4 pm)

Afternoon camp at The Little Gym of Greenville gives your kid the summer camp experience without the bug bites, poison ivy, and week-long commitments. Combining fun physical activity, games, and arts & crafts, we’ll help your child beat the summer heat by staying cool at The Little Gym.

Your child will spend three adventure-filled hours a day on a unique, exciting quest with their friends. Each week revolves around an interactive learning theme and creative lesson plans to keep your child engaged. The best part about camps at The Little Gym of Greenville, is they are completely flexible! Bring your little one for a day, a few days, or a week at a time. We’re excited to host another great summer at Roper Mountain Science Center, the home to more than 100 week-long half- and full-day camps for children in completed grades K4 through 9. Our hands-on activity-based educational Summer Explorations Camps mix a wide variety of fun in a wide range of topics. CESA Day Camps are designed for soccer players of any level from all clubs or programs ages 6-13 interested in further developing technical and tactical skills.

Instruction is led by licensed, professional coaches who follow a curriculum of fun, age-appropriate activities and small-sided games to develop player’s skills while fostering enjoyment and appreciation for the game of soccer.
